If we could go back in time, and look at addiction from a mental health perspective, what would be different? What would change? Would we stop seeing addiction as shame filled, with the addict as 'broken'? At Kodiak Health, we're taking a different approach to traditional addiction treatment.
A New Vision of Integrated Care
Challenging the Status Quo
The majority of clients with substance use problems also struggle with their mental health. Conditions such as anxiety disorders, eating disorders, depression, trauma/PTSD and personality disorders commonly coexist with substance use disorders. The Recovery Clinic works with our clients individually and provides specialty services that allow treatment of underlying concerns. By leveraging the Kodiak Health system, The Recovery Clinic can transcend a traditional mental health approach by offering clients the whole continuum of care, allowing them to provide the right level of care at the right time.
Kodiak Recovery is a flexible, trauma-informed, full-service co-occurring intensive treatment facility for individuals struggling with mental health and substance abuse concerns. Many face addiction, co-occurring disorders, eating disorders and other addictive/compulsive behaviors. Most behavioral healthcare providers aren't equipped to support clients with co-occurring concerns. This results in symptom driven treatment, effective in stabilizing clients but not effective at producing long term outcomes. Kodiak Recovery transcends traditional treatment by supporting clients in an individualized and "bespoke" manner. By leveraging the Kodiak Health system, Kodiak Recovery can better serve individuals and families by effectively treating the underlying issues clients face.
